Is DropTale free?
Yes — every gallery starts free with up to 15 photos and videos, and guests never pay anything. The QR upload flow, live slideshow and ZIP download are all included in the free tier.
Do guests pay anything?
No. Guests scan the QR code and upload for free, without installing an app or creating an account. Only the gallery owner upgrades if the gallery needs more than 15 photos and videos.
How long are photos stored?
Photos and videos are stored for as long as the gallery stays active. If no new photos or videos are added for 6 months and the gallery owner has no active upgrade, the gallery is marked for deletion and removed about a week later. Galleries of owners with an active upgrade are kept without time limits.
